In order to consolidate the support to productive sectors throughout the province, ProCórdoba Agency has signed an agreement with the Municipality of Villa María, whereby the parties have agreed to join efforts and strengthen relations.

According to the text signed by ProCórdoba's President Pablo De Chiara and Villa María's Mayor Eduardo Accastello, this agreement will strengthen relations by driving the management and analysis of the needs of the public and productive sectors, and offering advice on the different tools and services provided by the Agency to boost foreign trade.

In this way, the local Municipality will set up a space to serve as liaison between institutions and companies of Villa María and the region, on the one hand, and ProCórdoba, on the other. At the same time, it will make available the tools offered by the provincial government to promote companies' internationalization and incursion into foreign markets.

After signing the agreement, Pablo De Chiara praised the willingness of the local government to promote these actions and said, "Internationalization comes from the convergence of industry, qualified professionals and entrepreneurs looking for new markets for their products. We have programs to support the endeavors, but we need local governments to reach a wider net of businesses."

He also highlighted the characteristics that Villa María has, as an ideal space to achieve a development of its productive sectors. "For example," said the President of ProCórdoba, "the creative industries that have a large presence here in the city of Villa María and which are growing exponentially have a place in the Agency's agenda; they are sectors we seek to boost."

"With this agreement," continued Pablo De Chiara, "we have taken on the commitment to set up here in Villa María a branch office, a space where ProCórdoba can serve the public with its own professionals." We have also been working very closely with the Entrepreneurs Association of the Central Region (AERCA) towards the same goal: that more companies can use our services and thus expand Córdoba's export offer, from Villa María to the world," finished the President.

For his part, the Mayor of Villa María, Eduardo Accastello, announced, "We are going to co-finance the participation of professionals from our team to lead the new office, and support the work we are already doing with AERCA, and thus strengthen the companies of our city-region one by one so that they can engage in export."

During this visit to Villa María, Pablo De Chiara and officials of the Agency carried out other institutional actions with entities of the city and region.

A Cooperation Agreement was signed with the Entrepreneurs Association of the Central Region (AERCA), a business entity based in Villa María. The agreement will make it possible to work on the detection of new or potential exporters, who will be offered the services of ProCórdoba.
